Can collar interlining be dry cleaned?

Collar interlinings are usually not recommended for dry cleaning. The dry cleaning solution used in the dry cleaning process, such as tetrachloroethylene, may cause certain damage to the fabric, affecting the texture and lifespan of the collar interlining. At the same time, dry cleaning may also lead to a decrease in the adhesion between the collar and other parts of the clothing, resulting in problems such as warping and peeling.
For cleaning the collar interlining, it is generally recommended to use a gentle hand wash method. Gently rub the collar interlining with an appropriate amount of warm water and neutral detergent, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. During the cleaning process, it is important to avoid applying excessive force to prevent damage to the fiber structure of the collar interlining. After cleaning, air dry the clothes.
If there are heavy stains on the collar interlining that are difficult to clean, you can consider using a professional collar cleaner or stain remover for treatment. Before use, please be sure to read the product manual to understand the usage methods and precautions, in order to avoid unnecessary damage to clothing.
